Sales Manager - tORQUE MEASUREMENT PRODUCTS & sERVICES

Binsfeld Engineering is seeking an energetic and motivated sales manager to help accelerate sales growth and take the company to the next level. Located minutes away from the nationally-acclaimed Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes in beautiful Northern Michigan, Binsfeld Engineering specializes in designing and manufacturing telemetry systems. The Sales Manager will take full responsibility for the sales and growth of the Torque Measurement business, pursuing high market potential with devices that help measure torque and power on virtually any rotating shaft. This position offers significant growth opportunity and a chance to make an impact by offering unique solutions to customers around the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with existing customers
  • Find and attract new customers in target markets
  • Provide technical support for existing customers
  • Manage sales process including quotations and PO's
  • Prepare presentations and product demonstrations for customers
  • Actively participate in external marketing/sales events (tradeshows, sales meetings, etc)
  • Work internally with R&D to provide the voice of the customer and ensure products are developed with customer needs in mind
  • In partnership with Business Development Leader, develop sales/marketing strategy for the Torque Measurement business
  • Support international and domestic sales, working with wide range of international sales agents
  • Explore opportunities for new sales channels in strategic markets
  • Serve as a strategic decision-maker on Binsfeld's leadership team

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales/marketing experience in a high tech industry
  • Technical background or strong desire/capacity to learn
  • Service-minded and ability to talk confidently with customers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Leadership background or strong desire/capacity to lead others
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field
  • Electronics background
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Experience in B2B sales environment
